Hello and welcome to my brief June competition report. The Peter Hall memorial six hour has been won and run. The event was well attended with 28 registered teams. AROCA had 2 teams entered, Scuderia Alfa finished a respectable 6th and Sexels finished a little further back. The Austin 7 club took out the major prize. Speaking of MSCA websites, did you know the MSCA have a Facebook page? For those with a Facebook account search for ‘Marque Sports Car Association of SA’. Following the Facebook page is a great way of being advised when the Supp Regs are available for the next sprint round.

Sprint round 2 is fast approaching, the event is scheduled for the 19th June. Don’t forget AROCA is required to provide flag marshals for this round and I’m still looking for volunteers. If you’re interested in sprinting, retired from sprinting, having a brief hiatus from sprint or just enjoy watching motorsport I urge you to consider giving up a day of your time in return for a free lunch and a trackside seat.
