The MSCA has been approached by The Bend Motorsport Park to participate in the Mallala 60th Anniversary event scheduled for the weekend of the 28th and 29th August.  The MSCA has accepted their invitation.

The impact of this decision is the postponement of super sprint round 3. Round 3 was scheduled to be held on the 29th of August on the East circuit at The Bend, This event will now be held on the 31st of October at the same venue.

For the Mallala 60th, the MSCA members are offered a discounted entry fee of $115.  I understood the fee cover both days but I have since learned that only Saturday has spots available in the Super Sprint event.   Spots are filling up fast so if you’re interested I would suggest you register now.

This is not an MSCA event so the normal championship points won’t apply.  The change in the calendar will reduce the number of MSCA rounds from 5 to 4.  The November round has also been rescheduled to accommodate the October round.  The November round will now be held on Saturday 27th November at Mallala Motorsport Park
